Testimonials

My husband and I went on on this tour just this weekend and LOVED it! It was extremely informative and fun. We really enjoyed speaking with the tour guides– they were exceptionally patient with all of our questions and eager to share their knowledge. We learned a ton about American history from a perspective that is not often voiced. We also really appreciated the tour guides’ unique attention to nature. We recommend this tour to tourists and locals alike!

Thank-you for letting me be part of your first Tour. I found it to be almost breathtaking with all the information I learned that is so often overlooked and much more! This is Native American History that needs to be known and shared by all! I believe this Tour to be so well needed here in Plymouth.

We were immediately taken by the idea of such a tour and were rewarded again and again by taking it! What a magnificent experience.  Tom was an absolutely superb guide…so knowledgeable, so patient and incredibly in love with who he is and what he does.  We learned so much about Native life in early times, had many misconceptions challenged and gained an entirely different perception of activities in the Plymouth colony at its inception. We were so totally impressed by honest, sincere, and personal responses to our questions.  Tom’s knowledge of flora and fauna is amazing.  His love of nature is equally deep.  We also had the good fortune to see the herring running which Tom has seen many times but was clearly just as excited about as were we novices. Anyone visiting Plymouth who does not take advantage of this opportunity will not have done justice to the Plymouth experience!

We enjoyed a very informative and entertaining hour and 45 minutes with Tim, our tour guide.  He shared the history that isn’t taught in school and we saw historical sites we wouldn’t have otherwise seen.  It gave us a true appreciation of the native culture in this area and the lives of the pilgrims.  They were real people and came alive.  We would highly recommend this tour to tourists to Plymouth.

I have walked through Brewster Gardens and downtown Plymouth hundreds of times but after taking your walking tour I will never look at them the same. I learned so much about every aspect of the Gardens, from the fish to the plants and streams, there was so much information given to us by our tour guide. It was interesting to hear the history of the Town of Plymouth from the Native American Indians point of view. Our guide was very respectful and informative.
